If you follow the instructions on Nathan Freitas web site the base glyphs for Tibetan are displayed in Android the conjuncts or "stacks" necessary for rendering Tibetan properly are not formed so a lot of Tibetan text will be pretty unreadable.

According to the developer Mike Reed there is as yet no CTL (complex text layout) support in Android. This means all scripts requiring CTL support (including Arabic, Bengali, Devanagri, Tamil, Thai etc. as well as Tibetan) will not render properly until this is added.

In this day and age it is pretty lame of Google to launch an operating system that "supports Unicode" without proper CTL support. There are well tested and freely available cross-platform libraries such as ICU (used by OpenOffice) and Pango (used by GNOME under Linux) they could have made use of and good open-source fonts for most complex scripts freely available so there really is no good excuse.

I haven't heard anything from Laos side yet, whether if they are going to accept them back or not. At this moment, those 4000+ lives still in Thailand soil, right? They will need a lot of boats to transport those folks back to Laos.

As per http://euandus3.wordpress.com/2009/12/19/national-sovereignty-and-climate-change-at-copenhagen/ , the less than stellar result of the UN conference on climate change can be seen to point to the antiquated absolutist approach to national sovereignty in the wake of the technological changes of the 20th century.
