About RFA Unplugged

Radio Free Asia is a private, nonprofit corporation that broadcasts news and information to listeners in Asian countries where full, accurate, and timely news reports are unavailable. RFA is funded by an annual grant from the Broadcasting Board of Governors, a U.S. agency supported by the U.S. Congress.

RFA Unplugged is a Radio Free Asia blog. It is a no-frills place where we discuss regional trends and events, the things we chat about at the water cooler. But mostly it is a place where you can join in these conversations. Written by several RFA staff, this blog includes top stories from our language services, what’s coming up in our broadcasts, and what’s going on in the world of Asian online media.
